  4. Hi Trish. I am a graduate of your Couch to Half Marathon app. I used to be a runner, but did not run at all for the last 4.5 years. I wanted to get back on track with my fitness and overall health so decided I would run again. While looking for half marathon apps in the app store, i came across your couch to half app. I was sold by the name! it described perfectly what I was about to do…go from sitting on the couch, eating crap, to getting back into my running shoes and hitting the pavement. I ran my half marathon on May 27th I was hoping to finish in 2:30, but had a bad day and was 10 minutes off my goal time. STill I am pretty happy that I finished and will try for that 2:30 time in my next half (which is looking to be in October). your app and your blog have been a true inspiration to me. The weekly motivational videos were awesome and I referred to the inspirational quotes in the app all the time. This is why I am nominating you for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award. You truly are an inspiration with your approach to fitness and positive self image. This award has some duties that come with it, you can find the specifics here http://mypursuitofhappinessandskinnyjeans.wordpress.com/2012/06/30/me-inspiring-who-knew/ I look forward to seeing what inspires you. Cheers, Cathy

Finally, got to do the workout you set up. Holy cow. Got a good workout in. Did about 30 minutes, since I only did 6 rounds. Thanks for the workout.

  6. Hi,
I was just checking out your app in the App Store. Found it among the New Releases. Congrats, looks pretty good.

Happy with the amount of downloads so far?

I’ve worked with a few app developers over the last few months, and I’ve learned that there’s two aspects that you need to focus on to be really successful promoting apps in the App Store. I’d be happy to share what I’ve learned if you’re interested? Just let me know and I’ll send you over a quick overview. (I’m not trying to sell you information, just don’t want to bother you if you’re not interested in what I have to share.)

    Best of luck,
    Ed Turner
